In-School Support

Consultancy support is available, where Gareth works alongside school leaders, maths co-ordinators and teachers to develop the maths provision 'on the ground'. Support can be tailored to meet the needs of the individual school.

Demonstration lessons can be held, focusing on key school priorities. This may include a brief pre-lesson discussion to describe the lesson design and a post-lesson discussion to look at the impact on learning and plan next steps.

Lesson studies, book scrutiny and pupil interviews can be carried out. Support is given in planning sequences of lessons including the use of visual representations and techniques for writing reasoning questions. School maths policies and action plans can also be developed. Parent workshops can also be held. The in-school support provided by I See Maths has NCETM CPD Standard accreditation.

The consultancy support fee is £450 per day (plus VAT, travel and accommodation expenses). If the day includes a 60-90 minute staff meeting, an additional £150 is charged.
